Business Development Manager

Job brief

Logibiz Technologies is searching for a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our company. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in Sales and marketing of Payments and IT products, a keen eye for industry trends. 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  1. Manage & assist marketing team on growth strategy. 
  2. Prospecting & qualifying leads 
  3. Making discovery/ cold calls & follow-ups 
  4. Preparing & presenting product presentations 
  5. Performing product demos & POCs with potential clients 
  6. Build custom demonstrations and deliver proof of concepts (POC) 
  7. Competitive research 
  8. Conducting customer analysis 
  9. Creative buyer personas 
  10. Draft, prepare & deliver proposals & responses to RFI/RFT 
  11. Negotiating agreement 
  12. Managing Sales pipeline till Closing the deals 
  13. MIS & sales progress reporting  

REQUIREMENT & SKILLS: 

Character: 

A dynamic and motivated individual having passion for customer satisfaction and building professional customer relationships 

Agile and adaptive in learning new technologies 

Ability to work alone as well as a team 

An aptitude to easily pick up software functionality and communicate this to potential customers 

Experience & Domain: 

At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT Sales preferably in banking, e-commerce & payments domain 

Must have proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role with a proven IT sales track record 

Proven experience in product demonstration and /or working directly with potential clients in a pre-sales & sales process 

Excellent knowledge of e-commerce domain and e-commerce payment lifecycle & business processes. 

Knowledge of online payment gateways and 3DSecure is preferable 

Experience of selling SaaS and hosted solution is advantageous 

Having detailed knowledge of the functionality & technology of the product range 

Ability to demonstrate the Company’s products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge 

Prior experience in a Software engineer role is a plus 

Must have a good understanding of Web application, their architecture & design, infrastructure implementation & multi-tier applications 

Communication: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, other languages would be advantageous 
  • Ability to initiate conversations, do cold calls and make a lasting impact with excellent presentation skills 
  • Client-facing skills with excellent client engagement and negotiation skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to audience from C-Level to End user 
  • Able to interact with various levels within customer and partner organization from CxO, middle management and technical level of people
